I bought this as my 10 year old rescue greyhound has a slipped disc & can no longer jump in & out of the car. She refuses a traditional ramp and I could hurt her if I lift her. She managed this with no more than 5 minutes of training & is so happy to be able to visit her old haunts on the South Downs, albeit at a much slower pace. So relieved and impressed with the design of these steps that I’m ordering the ultralight for my partner’s car, when it’s available.

I ordered these as I have Newfoundlands who need assistance getting into my car. One also has severe hip problems so can't jump in or out of a car or climb stairs. He's never been up more than 2 steps & that is to come into the house.. These steps are perfect. They are strong enough to hold the dogs weight, yet light enough & manoevreable enough for me to put up whilst holding a dog (leash) in one hand. Very useful as there's not always someone around to help! Since the steps are folding there's room to fit them into the car. The dogs manage the steps easily, even the one who's never been up more than 2. ( with lots of bribes & encouragement) . They are a perfect size & weight for an xl heavyweight breed
Delivery was prompt. The steps were packaged well. The only issue I had was needing help to unscrew one of the side hinges of the steps, however, once the screw was loosened all was well. Would happily recommend these steps. They're perfect for the job.

I have 2 Newfoundlands one of which was finding the ramp difficult to run up to get into our defender. I used this for the first time today my puppy runs up with no issues but my 2 year old needs a lot of coaxing However, I am so glad we paid the money for this great design as it is a safer alternative to a ramp for a giants

Thank you for a great product. Monday, 26 December 2016 | Irina
These are very sturdy steps and the most compact option for keeping in the car. The folded steps sit nicely in the footwell of the rear seats. Our 11.5 stone beastie is happy using the steps and needed very little encouragement to climb up the 1st time. We have previously tried the XL-sized aluminium ramp, and abandoned it as it was difficult to fit in the car with the dog (too long to put across even in a fairly large SUV), and the dog didn't feel confident walking on the wobbly ramp. Steps are much safer. My only suggestion would be to make some sort of a cover for storing it because the edges and corners are a little sharp and getting it in and out of the car requires careful handling. Thank you for a great product.

Bought this for my 9 year old bernese mountain dog as he was finding the ramp we have always used difficult. Took to the stairs straight away. Much easier for him to get into the car which has a high tailgate really pleased we bought these. Very sturdy.

Made our excursions fun again... Saturday, 17 December 2016 | Brian
My elderly arthritic dog was getting hurt each time she tried to jump into the car boot and was needing help from me each time. Now these steps are the perfect solution for her and she quickly adapted to using them. Brilliant idea and so much better than a ramp. Very well made and easy to use they have changed our lives and made our excursions fun again.

Can't recommend it highly enough Thursday, 8 December 2016 | KP
My lovely lab cross was having a double elbow op and I needed something that would make getting in and out of a 4x4 easier. I looked ramps (much cheaper) but this was perfect and she had no bother using it. Her recovery went well and for the time being she is back to her usual self. Its now ready for her when she gets that bit older...Can't recommend it highly enough.
